CBRE Inc. alleges Stobba Associates failed to pay more than $250,000 in commissions

PHILADELPHIA – A Philadelphia limited partnership is alleged to have failed to pay a Los Angeles company commissions it earned.

CBRE Inc. filed a complaint on Dec. 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Stobba Associates L.P. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in 2015, the parties entered into an exclusive lease listing agreement for properties in Philadelphia under which the plaintiff was to serve as the exclusive real-estate broker.

The plaintiff holds Stobba Associates LP responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay $263,598.10 in commercial lease commissions.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant for all damages, interest and court costs. It is represented by James A. Keller and Cory S. Winter of Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP in Philadelphia and Harrisburg.
