World Wide Registration Systems alleges ASIS International breached contract

Law money 09

PHILADELPHIA – An East Norriton business claims a Virginia company improperly terminated a contract.

World Wide Registration Systems Inc., doing business as Expo Logic, filed a complaint on Dec. 21 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against ASIS International Inc. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the ASIS and Event Planning International Corp. (EPIC) entered into a service contract in July 2015 and EPIC was later sold to the plaintiff in December 2015. In October, the contract was terminated by ASIS, the suit states.

The plaintiff holds ASIS International Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly refused to pay invoices sent by the plaintiff for the services it provided and terminated the contract without a reasonable basis to conclude that it could not perform its obligations under the contract.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for compensatory damages, consequential damages, court costs, interest and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by Jason A. Snyderman and Ethan M. Simon of Blank Rome LLP in Philadelphia.
