Law money 07

PHILADELPHIA – A Pennsburg man alleges his Kulpsville employer failed to compensate him for overtime work.

Joseph Reeves filed a complaint on behalf of all others similarly situated on Dec. 20, 2017, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Greene, Tweed & Co. Inc. alleging violation of the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act, the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Law and the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked as a molding operator for the defendant and worked for more than 40 hours per week but was not provided adequate compensation.

The plaintiff holds Greene, Tweed & Co. Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay overtime wages to the plaintiff at the rate of one-and-one-half times his regular rate for hours worked that exceeded 40 hours per week.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for all damages. He is represented by Michael Murphy of Murphy Law Group LLC in Philadelphia.
