PITTSBURGH – A Butler business alleges a Georgia company has defaulted on a lease agreement.
Hunter Keystone Peterbilt LP filed a complaint on Jan. 9 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Action Expediting Inc. alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff leased nine commercial vehicles to the defendant in March 2012. It alleges the defendant has failed to timely pay invoices and as of Jan. 3, owed more than $106,000.
The plaintiff holds Action Expediting Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly breached its contractual agreement by failing to pay invoices sent to them by the plaintiff during the term of its lease.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $106,451.77 plus court costs, interest and any further relief the court grants. They are represented by Christopher D. Stofko and Vaughn K. Schultz of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote PC in Pittsburgh.
