PHILADELPHIA – A Connecticut corporation alleges it was not paid in full for work it performed on a Philadelphia construction project.
Berlin Steel Construction Co. filed a complaint on Feb. 5 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Dale Corp. and 8200 Commercial LP alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff was a subcontractor for the defendants to provide structural steel and miscellaneous metals for a residential and retail building project in Philadelphia in 2014.
The plaintiff holds Dale Corp. and 8200 Commercial, L.P. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff for all amounts due.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount of $430,589.16 plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by Daniel J. Brown and Danielle M. Karcich of McCarter & English, LLP in Philadelphia.
