READING – A Kennett Square company alleges a New Jersey business improperly "poached" one of its employees.
Onsite 340B LLC filed a complaint on Feb. 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against 340Basics Inc. alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendant breached a mutual confidentiality and nondisclosure agreement with the defendant's intention to employ plaintiff's employee Jennifer O'Neill.
The plaintiff holds 340Basics Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly breached its contractual agreement with the plaintiff by using the employee information it obtained to "poach" one of its employees, the suit states.
The plaintiff seeks order a temporary restraining order against the defendant; injunction against the defendant from hiring or employing plaintiff's key employee O'Neill; ancillary damages of no less than $150,000; court costs; and any further relief the court grants.
