EQT Production Co. alleged to have failed to pay fees after terminating contracts

Contract 06

PITTSBURGH – A North Dakota drilling and well servicing company alleges a Pittsburgh business failed to pay fees as required under a contract.

Savanna Drilling LLC filed a complaint on Feb. 27 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against EQT Production Co. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff and defendant entered into three daywork drilling contracts in 2014 and 2017.

The plaintiff holds EQT Production Co. responsible because the defendant allegedly terminated the contracts and failed to pay the termination fee invoice.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by Andrew K. Fletcher, Richard M. Weibley and Kevin M. Eddy of Blank Rome LLP in Pittsburgh.
