PHILADELPHIA — An employee is suing Ingram Content Group LLC for allegedly violating the Family and Medical Leave Act.

Amanda Richards filed a complaint on March 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the defendant terminated her employment for going on FMLA-protected leave.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was fired due to allegedly exercising her rights to go on FMLA-protected leave to address her health issues. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly terminating her employment in retaliation for exercising her rights under the FMLA.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory and liquidated damages and court costs. She is represented by David M. Koller of Koller Law LLC in Philadelphia.
