Trans Union LLC allegedly failed to accurately report credit history

PHILADELPHIA — An individual is suing Trans Union LLC, citing alleged inaccurate reporting.

Stanley Leonard Wallace Sr. filed a complaint on April 11 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the defendant violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he has suffered financial damages, harm to credit reputation and credit score, emotional distress, anxiety, frustration, embarrassment and humiliation due to the defendant’s allegedly faulty procedures. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly inaccurately reporting his credit history to third parties without utilizing reasonable procedures to ensure the maximum possible accuracy of his credit report.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual, statutory and punitive damages; costs; attorney's fees; and any further relief the court deems necessary, just and proper. He is represented by Mark D. Mailman and Alexis I. Lehman of Francis & Mailman PC in Philadelphia.
