PHILADELPHIA — A motorist is suing another motorist for alleged negligence.
Carla J. Demarco filed a complaint on April 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Shawn Allen Conrad, alleging that the defendant operated his vehicle in a careless and reckless manner.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendant slammed into the passenger side of her vehicle on April 25, 2016 while she allegedly was making a lawful U-turn in West Goshen Township, Pa.
She claims that the accident caused her sustain injuries to her head and adversely impacted her professional and personal relationships.
The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to be attentive while driving and for allegedly being under the influence of one or more controlled substances.
