Harmon Heating and Air Conditioning allegedly failed to properly pay employee

Law money 05

PHILADELPHIA — An individual employee is suing Harmon Heating and Air Conditioning LLC and its owners, Warren Harmon and Melissa Harmon, for alleged unjust enrichment and unpaid wages.

Ryland Shattuck filed a complaint on April 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the defendants violated the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act and the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Law.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he never received a wage statement that indicated his hourly rate, the number of hours he worked and/or any deductions made from his pay. The plaintiff further alleges that he did not receive all of his pay checks in 2017.

The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to properly compensate him and for allegedly wrongfully keeping the wages and benefits they allegedly owe him.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks the wages owed with interest, costs and any further relief that the court deems proper. He is represented by Karen E. Eichman of Eichman Law PLLC in West Grove, Pa.
