PHILADELPHIA — A Florida couple is suing Valley Forge Convention Center Partners, after an alleged slip-and-fall accident at the Radisson Hotel.
Jeffrey Schroeder and Pamela Schroeder filed a complaint on July 30, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, against the defendants alleging that they breached their duties to keep the premises in a reasonably safe and non-hazardous condition.
The plaintiffs allege that on Aug. 13, 2016, Pamela Schroeder was a guest at the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge when she slipped toward the elevator, causing her body to twist and fall.
She allegedly injured her neck, upper and lower back, right knee, right foot and right shoulder. The plaintiffs hold Valley Forge Convention Center Partners responsible, because the defendants allegedly allowed the floor to be slippery for a long period of time due to a liquid that had spilled.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek damages of more than $150,000, exclusive of interest and costs and such other just and proper relief. They are represented by Robert P. Snyder and Erik P. Snyder of Snyder Law Group PC in King of Prussia.
