PHILADELPHIA — A national account manager is suing Sun Chemical Corp., claiming his former employer allegedly violated the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Agreement.
Kenneth R. Meister filed a complaint on July 31, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, against Sun Chemical Corp., alleging that the former employer violated the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Agreement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 25, he voluntarily resigned his employment with the defendant. As result of defendant's actions, he was unable to be employed despite having two employment offers.
The plaintiff holds Sun Chemical Corp. responsible because the defendant allegedly refused to release him of his obligations and refused to pay wages and benefits pursuant to the agreement.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $75,000, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney's fees, costs and expenses and such other equitable, just and proper relief. He is represented by George Bochetto and Albert M. Belmont III of Bochetto & Lentz PC in Philadelphia.
