PITTSBURGH — Maurice A. Nernberg & Associates has filed a complaint in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against George Kusevich Jr. and Kusevich Contracting Inc., alleging that they failed to pay for legal services.

The plaintiff claims the law firm is due $38,728.93 for services rendered during their legal contract.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 30, 2017, Kusevich obtained a replacement counsel for his legal matters.

Plaintiff also claims it has forwarded the invoices to the defendant but no payment was made, constituting a breach of contract.

The plaintiff holds George Kusevich Jr. and Kusevich Contracting Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay plaintiff the amounts owed after accepting and retaining legal services.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in the amount of $38,728.93, plus interest and costs, and whatever other relief the court deems necessary.

The plaintiff is represented by Joshua A. Lyons of Maurice A. Nernberg & Associates, LLC in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
