PITTSBURGH — A Michigan company is suing Blume Honey Water LLC, Michelle Burchfiels, Douglas Q. Holmes and DHJH Holdings LLC, beverage company, citing alleged breach of contract, fraud, liability and negligent misrepresentation.

Angstrom Industrial Group LLC filed a complaint on Sept. 21 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging they breached its duty of good faith and fair dealings.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Angstrom Industrial Group LLC has been damaged by losing the value of its entire investment as a result of relying on the misrepresentations of agents of the defendant in providing false information about defendant's financial status for the purpose of inducing plaintiff to invest funds with them.

The plaintiff holds Blume Honey Water LLC, Michelle Burchfiels, Douglas Q. Holmes and DHJH Holdings LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly induced plaintiff to invest in the company by vouching for its strength and viability, and caused plaintiff to rely on the misrepresentations to its detriment.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for the full amount of investment plus interest, rescission, punitive damages, attorney's fees, costs, interest and other relief to which it may be entitled. They are represented by Daniel Michelmore of Jackson Kelly PLLC in Pittsburgh.

The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania Case No. is 18-cv-01210.
