MEDIA — A daughter and mother are suing Today's Child Learning Centers Inc. and Janet Dwyer, citing alleged negligence.

Aiesha Jacobs Gaddy, a minor, by and through her parent Aisha Gaddy filed a complaint on Jan. 2 in the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas against Today's Child Learning Centers Inc. and Dwyer, alleging the defendant learning center negligently allowed Dwyer to act in a reckless and dangerous manner.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 20, 2017, Aiesha Jacobs Gaddy was napping with other children at defendants' child care center when she was severely injured. She suffered serious and permanent injuries, including but not limited to abrasions, pain, scarring and severe shock to the nerves and nervous system, the suit says.

The plaintiff holds Today's Child Learning Centers Inc. and Janet Dwyer responsible because Dwyer allegedly picked her up by the neck and threw her violently to the ground.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants in an amount of more than $50,000, plus costs and all other relief that is fit to award. She is represented by Matthew Solomon of Dion, Solomon & Shapiro LLC in Philadelphia.
