Kathleen D. Wilkinson (Partner-Philadelphia) was elected vice president of the Pennsylvania Bar Association at the PBA's Annual Meeting on May 17, 2019, in Lancaster. She will thereafter serve as the association's president-elect and as its 2021−2022 president. Kathleen previously served in 2013 as the chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association, only the sixth woman to serve in that position in the association's history.
Kathleen has represented Philadelphia lawyers on the PBA Board of Governors and served in the PBA House of Delegates. She is the 2018−2019 chair of the PBA Civil Litigation Section and co-vice-chair of the Quality of Life/Balance Committee. Kathleen received the Gilbert Nurick Award from the PBA Conference of County Bar Leaders in 2014 for outstanding service to local bar associations, and was the recipient of the PBA Commission on Women in the Profession's Anne X. Alpern Award in 2008 for her demonstrated leadership in the legal profession and community. She also has chaired the PBA’s Women in the Profession Commission, among other leadership positions.
Kathleen concentrates her practice in the defense of personal injury and toxic tort actions, as well as complex insurance coverage matters.
