CSX sued in Harrisburg over train collision

HARRISBURG – A man is suing a railroad company alleging that he was injured due to its negligence.

Raymond Coll and Deborah Coll filed a complaint on May 30 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against CSX Transportation Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on July 14, 2018, the defendant was utilizing a rail gear without permission. The defendant's interference caused the driver of a train that was using the same track to smash into the cars that the defendant had left on the track, resulting in severe physical injuries to Raymond Coll.

The plaintiffs are seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs.
