Pepper Hamilton LLP issued the following announcement on Oct. 3.

Pepper Hamilton clients made another impressive showing at this year’s PACT Capital Conference, held on September 26 in Philadelphia. The event — the oldest venture conference in the Northeast — brings together key players from the private equity, venture capital and entrepreneurial communities, resulting in billions of dollars in venture funding and entrepreneurial success.

Of the 41 companies selected to present at the conference, 11 were Pepper Hamilton clients, including several members of the Pepper SEED™ program, which provides services to startups and early-stage companies. Pepper clients selected to pitch to investors at the PACT Capital Conference included:

Advaite (therapeutic and health care solutions)

ARIEL (genomics and digital health)

Cernostics (cancer diagnostics)

Enero Labs (automated water detection)

FloBio (analyzes “flowing” blood as a diagnostic technique)

Proscia (digital pathology)

SmarTECHS (empowering field technician with augmented reality)

Tenex Technologies (oil recovery laboratory, logistics and sales)

ViewTag (digital luggage tags)

VOMOS (mobile, high-end experience concierge)

ZeroEyes (artificial intelligence security)

Pepper has been a long supporter of the PACT Capital Conference and sponsors the gala reception each year. Last year, two Pepper clients were chosen for the conference’s “Lion’s Den,” where they presented to a panel of entrepreneurs who made investment commitments live in front of an audience.

“One of the most exciting aspects of working with startups and emerging-growth companies is being on the front lines as they pitch to investors and experience transformative success. We were thrilled to see so many of our clients doing just that at this year’s PACT Capital Conference,” said Thomas P. Dwyer, partner and co-chair of the firm’s Emerging Growth Group. “Our SEED program continues to offer startups and emerging-growth companies the resources needed to grow and succeed, including business plan and pitch coaching. We also recently launched a new SEED website to help startups learn about mores our services and market success.”
