Kassem L. Lucas, Pepper's Partner in Charge of Diversity, will be joining a panel discussion on titled "Implicit Bias, Discrimination, and You" hosted by the Philadelphia Bar Association. The program will examine implicit biases and provide tools to manage those biases in order to prevent them from adversely affecting the decisions one makes and encounters with others. Panelists will discuss issues of discrimination in the workplace, courthouse, and legal organizations along with considering when and what actions can be taken. The program will further address the value of diversity and inclusiveness in legal environments and why that should matter to attorneys and their practice.
