PITTSBURGH - An Allegheny County man sued the Jewish Association on Aging and the Charles Morris Nursing and Rehabilitation Center who says the center's electric doors closed on his head, according to documents filed in February the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.

Plaintiff Raya Sun T. El was a visitor to the center located at 200 JHF Drive in Pittsburgh in October 2019. He says that an electric door malfunctioned in a way that caused the door to close and strike El in the head, suffering serious injuries.

The Association and Center are charged with one count of negligence in premises liability, and restitution for El's mental and physical suffering, loss of wages and other damages are expected.

The plaintiff is represented by the Todd J. Hollis Law Offices of Turtle Creek.
