MEDIA - A Glenolden man sued the A Taste of Key West restaurant located in Morton after he was injured falling down the stairs, according to documents filed Feb. 10 in the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas.

Plaintiff Matthew Titus was at the restaurant on April 19, 2019, when he was about to descend a flight of stairs. He says he was told by a restaurant employee they were safe and dry after having been marked. Despite what the employee allegedly said, the plaintiff slipped on water and he fell down the stairs, sustaining serious injuries, the suit claims.

The defendants are charged with one count of negligence, for which the plaintiff is seeking at least $50,000 in damages for his injuries.

Titus is represented by Kenneth R. Schuster and Associates, PC.
