Barsh is co-chair of the firm’s Environmental Practice and represents public and private clients on an array of environmental regulatory, permitting, and litigation matters, including transactional support and due diligence, environmental assessment and liability matters, climate change, energy and infrastructure projects, wetlands and coastal permitting, complex land use projects, air quality matters, hazardous materials contamination, and other compliance and enforcement cases.

Kendig-Schrader represents both the public and private sector in land use and environmental matters and administrative litigation. She works with clients to create public/private partnerships for infrastructure needs, particularly those related to transportation.

Kirn focuses her practice on complex environmental and energy litigation, regulatory compliance counseling, and resolution of environmental liabilities identified transactions. She routinely represents clients in litigation in state and federal courts, assists clients with implementation of ESG and environmental, health, and safety management systems, and works on behalf of developers and corporations in connection with the remediation, acquisition, sale, and financing of contaminated real estate.

Nicholoson-Choice has 30 years of experience, which includes local government, environmental, land use, brownfields, construction with an emphasis in negotiating and resolving complex environmental permitting, due diligence, and litigation matters. She serves as environmental and land use counsel on multi-million-dollar projects and transactions.

Tan’s practice focuses on litigation and counseling for clients in the railroad, natural gas, petroleum, renewable energy, mining, development, home building, and telecommunications industries on complex environmental enforcement and regulatory matters.
