McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC. issued the following announcement on Mar. 19.

McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC is pleased to announce that McNees Chair Brian Jackson was selected to the Central Penn Business Journal’s 2021 Power 100 list.

Each year the CPBJ recognizes individuals who hold positions that give them the ability to shape our communities and influence our quality of life.  This is not a ranking or score but rather a way to introduce the publication’s readers to people who make impactful decisions.

Brian joined McNees in 1994 as an associate in the Labor and Employment Practice Group.  During his tenure, he served as a Practice Group Leader (2002-2017) and Vice Chair of the Management Committee (2005-2018).  In November 2018, Brian was elected Chair of the firm. Since then, McNees has pursued geographic and service expansion, opening offices in York and Devon and launching multiple complementary professional businesses.  Each expansion has enhanced the firm’s ability to serve clients and exceed their expectations as trusted advisors.

While his primary focus is on serving the firm, Brian represents employer clients, predominantly as lead negotiator in collective bargaining and as counsel in labor arbitration matters.

Consistent with McNees’ tradition of servant leadership, Brian serves our communities.  He is a Director with Team Pennsylvania, a public-private partnership that initiates and supports innovative programs to improve Pennsylvania’s competitiveness and economic prosperity.  He also serves on several committees of the United Way of the Capital Region and as Chair of the Board of Directors of Trinity High School.

McNees is a full-service law firm based in central Pennsylvania with more than 130 attorneys representing corporations, associations, institutions and individuals. The firm serves clients worldwide from offices in Harrisburg, Devon, Lancaster, York, State College and Scranton, Pa.; Columbus, Ohio; Frederick, Md.; and Washington, D.C. McNees is also a member of the ALFA International Global Legal Network.
