Steven M. Regan has joined the Business Department as a Member of Steptoe & Johnson PLLC. His practice will focus on real estate, real estate development, and real estate and corporate financial transactions from the firm’s newest location in downtown Pittsburgh.

Slaughter. “Veteran attorneys like Steve who know how to get positive results and build lasting relationships are a crucial part of our long-term effort to expand services to new and existing clients in the Pittsburgh market.”
Regan has many years of experience advising businesses and individuals in a variety of real estate and finance transactions. He has thorough knowledge of each phase of development and knows what it takes to get a project off the ground. Regan works closely with developers, lenders, and real estate investors on acquisitions and developments for multi-family and mixed-use projects. His work includes site acquisition, zoning, project entitlement, entity formation, project finance and diligence and, ultimately, project disposition. Regan regularly represents real estate investors in structuring real estate investments and executing acquisition and financing of projects in all asset classes. His experience in corporate transactional matters includes forming limited liability companies, asset purchases and sales, and advising clients on appropriate entity structure. He provides similar counsel for real estate investors in forming investment vehicles and negotiating limited liability or limited partnership agreements.
Regan earned his law degree from Duquesne University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is licensed to practice law in both Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Regan is a licensed Pennsylvania and West Virginia title insurance agent.
