PITTSBURGH — An attorney who owns property in Pittsburgh is alleging his neighbor is an "absentee landlord" who neglects her property and has nuisance tenants.

John Renda filed a complaint in July in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against Jun Minhee.

Renda owns a residence on Maple Heights Court in Pittsburgh, according to his complaint. He alleges that Minhee's property and the defendant's property share a common wall, steps to the front door and a roof with the "back areas" of the properties being "similarly close."

Renda claims that the defendant has rented out her property for the past two years and that the defendant's tenants "consistently interfere" with the interest and enjoyment of his adjoining property. Specifically, Renda alleges that the defendant's tenants leave trash on the shared steps and patio area and that trash attracts animals and is spread out over the porch, street and sidewalk.

He further alleges the defendant's property has "knee high grass," tenants coming and going at all hours and that the tenants have people pounding on their door at midnight and at one and four o'clock in the mornings. Renda claims Minhee is an "absentee landlord" who poses a nuisance to the community and neighbors.

Renda seeks monetary and all other just relief. He is represented by himself.
