Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin issued the following announcement on Nov. 15.
Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin was honored with the 2021 Champion of the Bar Award from the Philadelphia Bar Association. The firm was recognized at the Association’s annual member appreciation event, held at City Winery in Philadelphia. The firm’s in-house band, Class Action and the Marshall Dennehey Horns, provided entertainment for the occasion.
Created in 2020, the Champion of the Bar Award is given annually to a law firm, law department, legal services organization or law school in Philadelphia that has fully supported the Association through 100% membership, leadership roles, member engagement and contribution to the community through public service.
According to Harvey L. Hurdle, Jr., Executive Director of the Philadelphia Bar Association, Marshall Dennehey was the Association’s unanimous choice. “It was an easy decision, given the firm’s longstanding history with the Association and its robust participation in our activities and mission,” he said.
G. Mark Thompson, Marshall Dennehey’s President & CEO, commented, “We are honored and delighted to receive this award. Our Philadelphia Office Managing Attorney, Butler Buchanan, III, has led by example with his dedication and commitment to the Association and its mission to serve the profession and the public by promoting justice, professional excellence and respect for the rule of law. He is involved on so many committees, on so many levels, and our attorneys have followed suit. We thank Buck, our attorneys and certainly the Bar Association, for this wonderful recognition.”
