PITTSBURGH — A mother is claiming negligence after her 1-year-old allegedly suffered serious injuries when she was left on a trampoline unsupervised.

M.S., a minor by and through her parents Aubrey Hughes and natural guardian and Aubrey Hughes, individually filed a complaint August 13 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against Lindsay Anker, James Anker and Gi'orio Four LLC alleging negligence.

According to the plaintiffs' complaint, M.S. was an invited guest at a property the Ankers were renting from Gi'orio Four LLC. They claim that M.S., along with other minors, were using the trampoline without supervision when M.S. suffered injuries.

The plaintiffs further claims M.S. suffered an ankle fracture, muscle injuries and mental trauma as a result of the defendants' negligence. They allege the defendants were negligent for allowing M.S. and other minors to use the trampoline. The plaintiffs claim the defendants were also negligent for allowing minors of mixed ages and sizes on the trampoline. They also claim Gi'oro Four was negligent for allowing the Ankers to have the trampoline on their property.

The plaintiffs seek monetary relief, interest, trial by jury and all other just relief. They are represented by Brandon Keller of Ainsman Levine LLC in Pittsburgh.
