Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Edward J. Hayes, who is the 2022 recipient of the Pennsylvania Land Title Association’s Anne L. Anastasi Trailblazer Award for Outstanding Achievement and Innovation.
The first honoree to receive the recognition after Anastasi, Hayes was selected for his exemplary leadership and advocacy in the title insurance industry for more than 40 years.
Hayes, who serves as co-chair of Fox Rothschild’s Title Insurance Defense Group, leads the firm’s nationwide practice in this highly technical area of law. He is a leader in the Pennsylvania title insurance sector and frequently handles related disputes on behalf of title insurance companies, title insurance agents and insureds. Hayes represented the Association in its landmark cases against the Philadelphia Department of Records, the Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office and the Berks County Recorder of Deeds, each of which resulted in extraordinary mandamus Orders compelling the defendants to comply with their statutory duties.
The Pennsylvania Land Title Association is the regional trade group for the title insurance industry, which advocates for title agents and agencies, title insurance underwriters, real estate attorneys and other real estate professionals in the legislative and judicial arena on both the national and state level.
