Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to welcome Lauren B. Sabol to the Pittsburgh office as counsel in the Intellectual Property Department.
Sabol has more than ten years of experience representing businesses in a full range of intellectual property litigation, transactional and counseling matters. Her practice focuses on developing creative strategies and solutions for her clients in patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret matters.Sabol holds an engineering degree and has experience representing a variety of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to startups, in a broad range of industries including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, nutritional and dietary supplements, mechanical and electrical devices, cell phone technology, oil drilling technology, art, film, architecture, consumer products and computer software. She has appeared on behalf of clients in local, federal and appellate courts as well as before the U.S. Supreme Court. Sabol also represents clients in TTAB, USPTO and UDRP proceedings.
Beyond Fox, she provides pro bono representation to veterans seeking Combat-Related Special Compensation benefits, nonprofits and startups in trademark disputes and drafts amicus briefs for trade organizations such as the NYIPLA and INTA.She earned her J.D., cum laude, from New York University School of Law and B.S.E. from Duke University.
Prior to joining Fox, Sabol was an attorney at an IP boutique and an international law firm in New York.
