David Hackett, a member of Cozen O'Connor’s Labor & Employment Department, has been named the chair of the Riddle HealthCare Foundation. For the last six years, Dave has served on the foundation’s board of directors.
In accepting the role, Dave said, “For my wife and I, Riddle Hospital has played an important role by providing quality health care throughout our lives. It is where both of our kids were born. I am honored to take a leadership role to ensure our community continues to support this valuable asset. Main Line Health has shown a commitment to our community while other community hospitals are shutting their doors. I look forward to working with Main Line Health and our board to ensure Riddle Hospital continues to grow in providing exceptional quality health care in the Delaware Valley.”
Hackett focuses his practice on representing and counseling employers concerning the full spectrum of labor and employment-related issues. He has represented employers before federal and state courts, arbitration hearings, and administrative agencies. He has defended claims of unlawful discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, wage and hour violations, wrongful discharge, unfair labor practices, unemployment compensation, breach of contract, and whistleblower complaints, as well as non-compete, non-solicitation, and trade secret litigation. He has also assisted employers in opposing unionization efforts and collective bargaining negotiations.
