Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, a full service national law firm with offices from coast to coast, is pleased to announce that partner Benjamin J. Sitter is joining the firm’s Pittsburgh office.
Sitter joins Nelson Mullins as a litigation partner. He focuses on class actions and complex litigation. He has experience representing clients from the financial industry, and has handled matters involving vehicle finance, consumer protection claims, Ponzi schemes, and mortgage lending and servicing.
“We are delighted to have Ben join us here in Pittsburgh. His extensive background in complex class action litigation and defense of financial institutions will complement and expand our existing Pittsburgh litigation team,” said Pittsburgh partner Thomas S. Jones.
Sitter graduated from Emory University, where he received his master’s and bachelor’s degrees. He earned his law degree at the University of California Berkeley School of Law.
He will join the Pittsburgh office that opened in March 2023, with the addition of 22 lawyers — 10 of whom are partners — from the firm Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP. The office is located at PPG Place in downtown Pittsburgh.
