Eckert Seamans Names Eddie Raychaudhuri as Firmwide Chief Operating Officer

National law firm Eckert Seamans has named Eddie Raychaudhuri Chief Operating Officer of the firm, effective January 29, 2024. Raychaudhuri will report to the Chief Executive Officer and work collaboratively with the Executive Committee to successfully shape the firm vision, strategy, and financial goals aligned with strategic business priorities for the continued growth of the firm.

He will additionally oversee firmwide operations, including practice management, financial and pricing management, information technology & data security, facilities, records management, library services, marketing & business development, and recruiting and human resources. Raychaudhuri will be based in both the firm’s Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C. offices.

Raychaudhuri has more than 14 years’ experience advising on law firm operations, strategic pricing, and practice management. He most recently served as Practice Group Director at DLA Piper, where he oversaw numerous practice areas, managing all facets of daily operations as well as strategic planning and execution, financial management, pricing, practice management, talent management, recruitment, and client development. Prior to joining DLA Piper, Raychaudhuri held various pricing and client services positions at major law firms including Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, Squire Patton Boggs, and Arnold & Porter. He holds an MBA from American University, a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, and a B.A. from Case Western Reserve University.
