The plaintiff's attorney, Gerald B. Baldino Jr., alleges that on April 6, 2022, in Chichester Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, defendant Theresa Manley caused a severe and violent collision while operating a Bluebird Transit Bus owned by Sutton Bus & Truck Co., Inc. The bus allegedly crossed traffic lanes and failed to yield the right of way to Farraday's vehicle.

Farraday suffered serious and permanent bodily injuries as a result of the accident. She maintains full tort rights under the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Financial Responsibility law due to her selected tort option and the serious nature of her injuries.
