HARRISBURG - A Chipotle customer is suing the company because, he says, a bone from chicken in his burrito bowl became stuck in his throat.
Frank Baltimore, Sr. recently filed a lawsuit against Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc., Chipotle Mexican Grill of Colorado, LLC, and Chipotle Services, LLC in the Court of Common Pleas of Dauphin County.
The complaint alleges that on July 8, 2022, Baltimore ordered a chicken burrito bowl from a Chipotle restaurant located at 3531 Union Deposit Road in Harrisburg.
While eating the meal, he encountered a bone that became lodged in his throat, causing injuries for which he sought medical treatment, the suit says.
The suit claims negligence on the part of the defendants for failing to ensure the food was safe and free from hazardous conditions. Baltimore is seeking damages exceeding arbitration limits.
