Holland & Knight Strengthens Corporate and Insurance Practices with Additions of Greg Hoffnagle in New York and Alex Selarnick in Philadelphia

Holland & Knight has bolstered its Corporate, M&A and Securities Practice Group with the additions of Partners Greg Hoffnagle in New York and Alex Selarnick in Philadelphia. Both previously practiced at Goodwin, where Mr. Hoffnagle was head of the firm's InsurTech practice.

Mr. Hoffnagle guides insurance technology (InsurTech) companies, emerging and technology companies, venture capital and private equity firms, and other insurance-related service companies through cutting-edge compliance, regulatory and transactional matters. A considerable part of Mr. Hoffnagle's advisory work involves working with technology clients in creating innovative products and bringing them to market quickly, from choosing an operating structure to licensing and regulatory issues. Mr. Hoffnagle earned a J.D. degree from Pace University School of Law and a B.A. degree from Fordham University.

Mr. Selarnick advises insureds, insurers and InsurTechs, as well as their partners and investors, on a broad range of compliance, regulatory and transactional matters. Mr. Selarnick frequently works with insurance companies, producers, managing general agents (MGAs) and startups on innovative products and services, embedded insurance and other alternative insurance distribution models, partnerships with unlicensed entities and other transactional insurance matters. Mr. Selarnick earned a J.D. degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo Law School and a B.A. degree from the University of Maryland.
