DLA Piper is pleased to announce that the firm has received several recognitions as part of the Legal Intelligencer’s 2025 Pennsylvania Legal Awards.
The publication named Raymond Williams, senior counsel in the firm’s Philadelphia office, a Distinguished Leader in recognition of his role in the successful resolution of a voting rights lawsuit brought on behalf of the Navajo Nation, the Navajo Nation Human Rights Commission and individual Navajo voters in San Juan County, New Mexico.
Rachel Horton, an associate in the Philadelphia office, was named to the Lawyers on the Fast Track list honoring “the next generation of legal leaders.” Horton was recognized for her successful product liability practice and extensive pro bono efforts, as well as her involvement in the community.
In addition, DLA Piper was named one of just two finalists in the Products Liability/Mass Torts Litigation Department of the Year category, and Fahd Riaz, Managing Partner of the Philadelphia office and Chair of the Philadelphia Corporate practice, was named a finalist in the Most Effective Dealmakers category. Winners for these categories will be announced at a ceremony in Philadelphia on June 12.
