PHILADELPHIA – Facebook, Reddit and Imgur have collectively been dismissed from a lawsuit brought by a local television news anchor suing for allegedly improper use of her image on commercial websites across the Internet, per order of a federal judge in Philadelphia.

PHILADELPHIA – In response to a lawsuit filed by a local television news anchor who believes a surreptitious image taken of her was later broadcasted online without her knowledge or consent, social media giant Facebook has claimed immunity through a federal anti-indecency law.
