Couple who alleged husband was nearly killed by fan system drop punitive damages from suit

PITTSBURGH – A Western Pennsylvania couple has dropped a claim for punitive damages from their negligence lawsuit, which argues U.S. Steel and a number of other defendants were liable for injuries the husband-plaintiff suffered, when he was sucked into a pressurized fan system and nearly killed.
