ERIE – As its designated plaintiff, a local man considered legally blind will oversee a class action lawsuit against a Nevada-based retailer of bags and other merchandise, alleging its website does not support Screen Reader software for the visually-impaired and thus violates the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

Judge sends federal suit over baseball-related eye injuries to Middle District court

PHILADELPHIA – A federal judge has sent litigation brought by a Central Pennsylvania couple, surrounding extensive ocular injuries the husband-plaintiff suffered after a baseball allegedly ripped through polyethylene safety netting and struck him in the right eye, to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

PITTSBURGH – Echoing a recent answer from one of its co-defendants, a Harrisburg firm has also denied liability for causing a motor vehicle crash that a Western Pennsylvania woman says caused her to suffer third-degree burns over 70% of her body, two years ago.

City of Philadelphia again looking to dismiss suit from parents of pre-trial detainee killed in custody
