Drilling equipment firm says bills unpaid

Overdue

PITTSBURGH — A drilling equipment company is suing another company for allegedly owing the plaintiff more than $200,000 for contracted goods and services.

Strad Oilfield Services Inc. filed a lawsuit on April 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Dynamic Structures Inc., citing breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

According to the complaint, Dynamic rented drilling equipment and rug mats from Strad Oilfield beginning Feb 18, 2015. The plaintiff also provided services and labor associated with the equipment until December 2015.

The defendant has allegedly failed to abide by its agreement to pay $10,000 per week for the goods and services and has made no payment since Dec. 23, 2015.

Strad seeks full payment in the amount of $251,620.08, plus interest, and costs of the suit. It is represented by Randolph T. Struk and Samuel A. Hornak of Clark Hill PLC, in Pittsburgh.
