PITTSBURGH — A former employee is suing Consol Energy Inc., Consol Pennsylvania Coal Company LLC and Craig Dickerson, citing alleged violation of the Family and Medical Leave Act and wrongful termination.
Brady Bertetto filed a complaint on June 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they terminated rgw plaintiff's employment despite his rights to a leave.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered physical injuries and requested for a leave or proper accommodations until he was able to perform his previous duties, and instead he was terminated. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly terminated his employment despite his notification of his physical condition and his need for time off to recover.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages, reimbursement for any and all pay benefits, back pay, front pay, salary, pay increase, bonuses, insurance, benefits, punitive damages, court costs and any further relief the court grants.
