PHILADELPHIA — A man is suing Pyco Inc., Pyco LLC, John Metzger, Jr. and Joanne Miller, employers, citing alleged retaliation, unpaid wages and violation of wage laws.
Richard A. Dovidio filed a complaint on June 29 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they failed to fairly compensate him for all hours worked.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that after new ownership took over the company on Sept. 8, 2015, it was announced that commission payments and accrued vacation time due from the time before that date would not be paid. The plaintiff accuses the defendants of violating the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Pennsylvania Wage Collection and Payment Law.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages, liquidated damages, punitive damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Timothy M. Kolman, Wayne A. Ely and W. Charles Sipio of Kolman Ely, P.C. in Penndel.
