Man says credit reporting was wrong

PHILADELPHIA — A consumer is suing TransUnion LLC, Credit Collection Services Inc. and ABC Corporation, citing alleged misrepresentation in debt collection.

Charles Victor Hayes filed a complaint on July 18 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they made false reports regarding the plaintiff's credit history.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered damages to his credit reputation and credit score. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly reported inaccurate information regarding the plaintiff's credit report.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks injunctive relief, actual damages, statutory damages, punitive damages, court costs and any further relief the court grants. He is represented by Mark Mailman and Gregory Gorski of Francis & Mailman, P.C. in Philadelphia.
