Former dancer at Blush bar accuses establishment of overserving her

PITTSBURGH -- A former dancer at a bar is suing Albert Bortz, One Three Five Inc. and Blush, her employers, alleging negligence, insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries and unlawful sale of liquor to an intoxicated person.

Lia Gialanella filed a complaint on Sept. 27 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against the defendants, alleging they allowed her to consume several alcoholic beverages and did nothing to prevent her from driving away.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 13, 2014 she sustained physical injuries including broken knees, a broken ankle, broken ribs and several cuts to the head when her car hit a bridge foundation. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly serving her several drinks and displaying outrageous conduct and reckless indifference.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of $35,000.
