Government claims Philadelphia man owes debt

PHILADELPHIA — The federal government is suing Bernard M. Palmer, a Philadelphia resident, alleging unpaid debt.

The United States of America filed a complaint on Oct. 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Palmer, alleging that he failed to settle his debt with the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages due to the unpaid debt. The plaintiff holds Palmer responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay the principal amount of his debt to the plaintiff plus interest.

The plaintiff seeks amount of $7,469.69, interest, filing fee of $150, and court costs. It is represented by Thomas I. Puleo of KML Law Group, P.C. in Philadelphia.
