Carmeuse Lime & Stone accused of not paying bill in full

PITTSBURGH — A Carlisle company is suing Carmeuse Lime & Stone Inc. of Pittsburgh, alleging breach of contract.

Echo Industrial Inc. filed a complaint on Nov. 29 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against Carmeuse Lime & Stone Inc., alleging that the Pennsylvania corporation made only partial payment to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Echo Industrial Inc. suffered monetary damages to its business. The plaintiff holds Carmeuse Lime & Stone Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff in full after a change order.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds $65,876.64 plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. The plaintiff is represented by Kurt F. Fernsler and Marc J. Felezzola of Babst, Calland, Clements and Zomnir, P.C. in Pittsburgh.
