Quantum Imaging & Therapeutic Associates alleges breach of contract

HARRISBURG — A Pennsylvania business is suing Chicago-based Metropolitan Diagnostic Imaging Inc., d/b/a A.M.I.C., and West Virginia resident Harsha Hatti, alleging breach of contract, misrepresentation and tortious interference.

Quantum Imaging & Therapeutic Associates Inc. filed a complaint on Jan. 27 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against Metropolitan Diagnostic Imaging Inc., d/b/a A.M.I.C. alleging that the Chicago business failed to pay the plaintiff for their services.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Quantum Imaging & Therapeutic Associates, Inc. sustained financial damages to as the result of not being paid for its services. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for an alleged failure to provide the plaintiff monthly reports based on their agreement in order to calculate the total amount they owed the plaintiff.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants for damages in excess of $115,220.44 plus punitive damages, consequential damages, interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Glenn R. Davis of Latsha Davis & McKenna, P.C. in Mechanicsburg.
