PHILADELPHIA — A Pennsylvania corporation is suing E La Carte Inc., a California corporation, citing alleged patent infringement.
AMI Entertainment Network LLC filed a complaint on Feb. 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against E La Carte Inc., alleging that the California corporation sells a product that infringes a patent currently registered to the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it sustained damages to its business as the result of the infringement. The plaintiff holds E La Carte Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly manufactured a product that infringes claims of the plaintiff's patent.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages, plus interest, an injunction against the defendant, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by John D. Simmons, Stephen E. Murray and Keith Jones of Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel LLP in Philadelphia.
