Founder accuses supplements business of retaliation

PITTSBURGH — An Oakdale man is suing a supplements business, alleging retaliation and sexual harassment.

Mark A. Mangieri filed a complaint Dec. 13 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against Exclusive Supplements Inc. of Oakdale, alleging the defendant terminated the plaintiff's employment as retaliation for complaining about a sexual harassment incident he had witnessed.

According to the complaint, Mangieri, the founder of ESI, sustained monetary damages from having been discharged from his employment. The plaintiff alleges Exclusive Supplements retaliated against him for complaining about witnessing sexual harassment by another male employee.

Mangieri seeks back pay of at least $134,246.58, compensatory damages, court costs and all further relief the court grants. He is represented by attorneys Gregory H. Teufel and Christian A. Angotti of OGC Law LLC in Pittsburgh.
